The Bournemouthian: A New Era!
A new era has begun to dawn for The Bournemouthian, a changing of hands! Today I am delighted to announce that soon the editorship of The Bournemouthian will be moving from the hands of Jamie, George, Ian and Jacob to those of Noah Stride and Charley Calvert. This will most likely not come as a shock to many of you, with the dark days of exams now quickly approaching the upper sixth.
We would like to thank the previous editors for the hard work in re-establishing The Bournemouthian since its decline many years ago, and we hope that we can pick up where they left off and continue to lead The Bournemouthian as a new site that works first and foremostly for the students. It is my utmost intention to fully represent the views of the students in cases where other systems have failed them whilst at the same time providing news that is integral to school life, from information regarding Charity Weeks to reporting on the events on Sports Day.
As part of our endeavor to take The Bournemouthian into an exciting future we are now looking for an army of contributors! Your activity levels can be entirely up to you, from the one-off opinion piece to regular reports on the day-to-day life of the school. If you are interested in getting involved, something that looks great on CVs and University applications, then please contact us at school, on Facebook or here on the site in the comments.
We would also like to open ourselves up to suggestions on what YOU want from The Bournemouthian. Let us know where you feel we are failing so we can sort ourselves out!
