GCSE Results Day 2016
More than 60% of all GCSE entries were awarded A* or A grades (82% of entries in R.S., 81% in History, 80% in P.E., 74% in Mathematics and 72% in Biology). 70% of the year group attained at least 5 A*/A grades, with 59 students (40%) attaining at least 10 A*/A grades.
As always, there were some outstanding individual performances.
Timothy Georges attained the full set of 14 A* grades.
At least 10 A* grades: Jed Avissar, Brandon Boontam, Neeraj Dinya, Tom Hall, Josh Halderthay, Alexander Morelli-Batters, James Wakefield, Andre Wong, Jack Farrier-Ledden and Joshua Shuttleworth (11 in total, including Georges).
At least 12 A*/A grades: James Alder, Glenn Balfour, Issac Beaglehole, Henry Bramwell-Reeks, James Cheeseman, Alex Dijkhuizen-Sands, Max Edwards, Eden Gray, Oliver Hioco, Alex Hudson, Ben Jones, Jun Se Kim, Matt Lane, Matt Lewis, Connor Miles, Samuel Nicholas, Tom Patmore, Alex Paul-Ajuwape, William Prendergast, and Dominic Williams (20 in total – 31 with the above 11).
