Head Boy candidate urges “The Wright Decision”
George Wright (D-2), a member of this newspaper, has been canvassing his electorate since Tuesday 1st March for the premier prefect position, in the run up to the student poll on Friday 4th. Wright, who is outspoken on many issues and wishes to enter politics, has gone so far as to produce a manifesto reaching over 1,000 words, outlining his policies for Bournemouth School. The precise details of this have yet to be revealed, however, his policies are rumoured to include a return to the red card system for prefects and a notable toughening of the punishments system.
Events took a more intriguing turn when, on the afternoon of Thursday 3rd, election campaign posters were found plastered to the walls and doors of the school, instructing students to “VOTE GEORGE”. This, proclaimed the placard, would be to “MAKE THE WRIGHT DECISION”.
The source of the posters is yet to be confirmed. However, if it is not Wright himself, then it must be an individual, or a group, perhaps, with close and personal access to him, judging by the images in the poster. For now, The Bournemouthian is dubbing the elusive figure ‘Eastfoot’. Various sources have identified the location where the photographs have been taken as Room 10, a regular haunt of the candidate. In addition, it seems from the images that Wright is lecturing his fellow students, due to his pronounced gesticulations.
